My love of photography runs deep.

I mean really deep.

I am infatuated with the ability a single image has to conjure an emotional, or psychological response to anyone that views it. I love the feeling the photo creates in the pit of your soul that begs you to go just a little further, and dig into it and explore a world of colours, or no colours, a world where any natural or unnatural law can be ignored or overly enforced, a world where any and everything is possible.

I was thirteen at the time and I didn’t know it then, but when I was given my Dad’s old minolta camera I had my life handed to me in the form of a 5 pound hunk of finely tuned aluminium. Still on the roll were shots from before I was born. Right away, something clicked between me and photography. The new found ability I had to freeze and preserve a moment in time was such a powerful realization that as you can see, still drives me to this day.

As for Flickr, I believe that this is a great place that I can come and just share my love of all things photographic. I like that I can post crappy iphone pics or my more polished personal work. I think as you scroll through my feed here you will get a much better idea of what I am all about and how deep my love of photography runs.
