I like color and pattern and have made things for others forever. I've sewn over 20 bed sized quilts and finally, one for myself .

I trend to modern, but appreciate the unexpected and unique.

I'm not a fan of pastels, and "muddy" colors, or vintage, lace, small prints and novelty fabrics but understand they all have a place in the quilting/sewing world. I favor grey and just off white (think Kona snow) as negative space "colors" and tend to stay away from browns.

I do not have a favorite fabric line or designer- I find that nearly all have something that catches my eye.

I have been sewing since I was 10, quilting since 30. I love to do both and you'll often find my favorite quilting fabrics disguised as clothing or craft, which is a great way to use fabrics you love. When not quilting you can find me traveling the world collecting ideas for my "Derived Inspiration" quilt series or teaching in Boulder and Denver.
