I'm blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth - the Four Corners country of Southwest Colorado. with mountains, canyons, high desert, rivers, red rocks, four National Parks, five National Monuments, ghost towns, farms, ranches and quirky towns all within a two hour drive, I'm never at a loss for photographic material. I just need more time!!

My first camera was a Brownie box camera I borrowed from my grandmother. Then came the classic Kodak Instamatic. I think I broke two of three of those, just hauling them around. I bought a used, old, HEAVY Canon FT in the '80s and lugged it and 2 lenses on all my backpacking trips, spending thousands on film developing.I'm on my third Canon now, finally a digital. That's a good thing, too, because I'll need the money I'm saving on developing for a new set of brakes. I'm constantly slamming on the brakes to get a picture of something or stopping to wait for the perfect light.

I hope you enjoy some of my photos half as much as I enjoy taking them.
