As a Network Rail signalman I was privileged to get official access to signalboxes where the public cant go. I retired from Network Rail after 43 years in January 2019 and have seen a lot of boxes disappear in that time. I am not just interested in signalboxes though, just about every aspect of railways has an interest for me.
