Wulfrunian by birth, but moved to Stafford Borough in 1990. Then went just up the A34 to a picturesque suburb of Newcastle-under-Lyme in December 2013, so back to a town. In October 2015, I came to the delightful Staffordshire Moorlands town of Leek, with its many mills and chimney pots! Being on the edge of the Peak District National Park is truly wonderful! I'm so looking forward to exploring the area properly.

I have been taking photographs since the age of 9, heavily influenced by my late father when it comes to architecture subject matter. My flickr name originates from the nickname he gave me as a child :-) I still have all my print photos from the 1970s onwards, until I entered the digital age. The prints need a LOT of sorting and 'deleting'!

Favourite subjects - architecture, quirky details, historic places, landscapes. I like taking pics of flowers and insects in moderation, am a big stained glass fan - as I've a particular penchant for the William Morris and C E Kempe firms.

Favourite places to 'shoot' - Lichfield, Liverpool, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Leek and The Potteries.

Included are scanned prints of Wolverhampton taken on film in the 1980s, which is how I began my flickr photostream. These photos have proved most favourable to current and former Wulfrunians, evoking some great memory-swapping! :-), resulting in some good Contacts here on flickr

My eldest son, a.k.a. Jimmy T Malice, has opened a flickr account - www.flickr.com/photos/jimmytmalice/ -, and is VERY steadily deciding which photos to upload. Being subjected to waiting for me to take photos, his eyes took in the scenes & my results. James has a good eye for detail and an ironic sense of humour. There will be some photos of his school trip to Madrid in July 2011, too.

My youngest son, aka RobTPictures, www.flickr.com/photos/95861218@N03/ opened an account in the spring of 2013, as he's had a new camera with a Schneider lens.

I'm really enjoying exchanging comments on photos and making new photographic acquaintances, plus discovering even more new places to take photos of!

Thank you to everyone who's viewing my photos, my profile and adding their thoughts to my photos, especially those who make any of my shots one of their Favourites.
