I began taking pics 1990. First own camera was used Pentax Me Super with M 50mm/1.7 prime. Took mainly landscapes to slide film and was very pleased. Began to scan slides in nineties and was not satisfied to quality. But it was start to digital age and had to get my first digital camera Canon EOS 1Ds in 2002. Dissappointed to the quality. Waiting cameras to get better and now have purchased second serious digital camera Pentax K-30. Now I can use my collection of prime Pentax lenses and one Takumar. Still waiting FF Pentax.
