I grew up in Georgia with two brothers, we loved to travel and camp. The summer of 1978 my grand-parents took me and my brothers across America in their camper trailer from Georgia to their home in Oregon. I experienced six weeks of pure joy and some of the best memories I have as a kid. This was the seed planted for my love of the great outdoors!

I’ve been a graphic designer and illustrator for 33+ years and you’ll rarely see me without my camera. My true passion for photography started later in life when our 11-year old yellow Labrador retriever, Rosie, was diagnosed with cancer. That was the day I began recording her everyday life, with my SLR film camera. She did survive cancer, thanks to WSU medicine. I’ve been a self-taught photographer ever since … and the rest is history.
