Drag to set position!
A keen photographer with main interests in landscape photography and seascapes.
I have been interested in photography for over 20 years with a lot of images taken on slide film in which you were never sure that you had got the image that you wanted till a few days later, but with digital you know straight away if the image is any good!.
I always try to get out early to capture the morning light at its best as most of the time the colours pre dawn are often more intense and the quality of the light is much softer than when the sun comes up above the horizon.
Most of my photography is done either early morning or later on in the evening as well as sunset/dusk and if i do take anything during the daytime it is usually converted to mono and sometimes i will have used a 9 stop ND filter to add some sense of movement in the sky or water.
I try to do as little as possible after converting the raw image in lightroom apart from removing any dust marks, using levels, saturation, cropping and removing any small inperfections in photoshop, i dont like spending hours on the computer trying to make an average image into a better one by replacing sky and introducing elements from other images because for me it always looks not quite right!, and my aim is to come away from a location happy to of captured the beauty of the natural landscape.
Comments are always appreciated!
