The purpose of these Flickr pages is two fold

1. To display some photos of scotland. These photos are my property and they cannot be copied, printed or distributed without my permission - if you want one ask and tell me why.

2. To display and catalogue my expanding Kodak collection. Feel free to browse.

Although I have pensioned off my Nikon F3 and Olympus cameras - Oh! and my instamatic 300 (I was 8) for a digital (I still feel a bit dirty) my first love is film cameras (I understand them). Maybe because my first camera was a Kodak I have always had a soft spot for this brand and have collected in fits and starts over the years.

The best way to surf these pages is to use the sets. In these you will find various views of each camera and some key information. If you want additional information please contact me thru Flickrmail.

I don't mind if you take a picture of these cameras for your own use, but I would however like you to attribute it properly. If you want to do something more sophisticated get in touch - its polite to have permisson. Its unlikely I will say no but I would like to know where the images are being used.

For the purists - I am now using a Nikon D800 fitted with a old 50mm f1.2 lens plus other old glass from my F3 days (Nikkor 105 and 300mm & Tamron 500mm mirror fixed F8). The photos have been manipulated in the same way we would work in a dark room (a bit of contrast and vibrance) using Lightroom but I do not spend hours manipulating the data - what you see is what I got. Photography is after all and art form.
