Retired designer and mechanical engineer; artist, and ex-overland traveller -- driving buses from England to India in late 1960s and 1970s. Travelled three times overland across Europe and Asia to Australia, to work as design draftsman for mining companies in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Sydney and Melbourne. Have also worked as truck mechanic, welder and truck driver in UK. Travelled coast-to-coast across (Los Angeles to New York) the USA on Greyhound Buses in 1969 — after crossing the Pacific onboard the old S.S. Australis.
