I'm a scientist, living in beautiful northern California. I was born in England, and grew up in Jamaica and Trinidad (two of the best places in the world!). I'm mostly of Indian and Scot descent, and maybe that's why I tend to be introspective, abstract and cranky :-) Oh, and I love extremely spicy foods, good beer and single malt scotch.
