Take 3 parts Hip Hop, mix in a splash of R&B, add a chunk of Soul and a healthy dose of Rock and give it all a Digital SLR & you've just discovered the Entertainment industries newest phenomenon, Rock Star!

Born in New York's country side and raised in Harlem, Rock Stars amazing fusion of urban cultures is quickly capturing the attention of music fans world-wide, and after taking an elective has been capturing the attention of the photo community as well.

"I never wanted to be famous, but I figured if I was going to Rap, I better go for the gusto." Rock Star

Hustling in New York City's underground for over a decade, Rock has managed to establish some pretty serious credentials. He has worked with several of New York's most notable musicians.

Including: Acclaimed Jazz Musician, Mike Case Kissel & the KMA All Stars.

Roc-la-Familia founder, Gordo

Diplomat/Taliban founder, Luca Brazi

FameCast.com Season 1 Phenoms, Round Table Union

Creme de la Creme founder, Scrilla Brazi

Chris "Halo" Pierce: Jambetta Studios

And even got original Jason of Friday the 13th,Warrington Gillette, to Guest appear on his 2004 hit, Daddy's Dead.

"I just so happened to be around the studio when my homie called me and said that Wary was in the studio and he needed a rap song written. I was like whatever. He was mad cool though. We would go over to his house and play ball. It was crazy chillin with an ax Murderer."

This collab seemed to represent what was soon to come. As seen at one of his recent concerts, Rock Star fans come in all shades, sizes and most surprisingly ages. His charm is undeniable and he eats up every second leading a table of 40-somethings in a chant of "Get off my dick", the hook from his recent club hit, Blahzeh Blah.

"People don't usually get offended by the things I say. I think because I don't say things for shock value. Everything is important to the song. People always tell me I didn't even like rap till I heard your songs."

Looking at Rock Star it's hard to get an impression. On this day his clothes are simple and lack the flashy logos. He sits casually wearing tan Timberland boots, simple straight leg jeans a little tighter than I am used to seeing on rappers. And a V-neck white t-shirt. His hair is short and neat and his face is clean shaven. The only jewelry I notice is a silver watch and two plain silver bands on each of his ring fingers. Yet the two large studs in his ears shine bright. When he speaks, his voice deep, calm and powerful, I get the feeling I am sitting amongst a star. His demeanor is cool and calm yet he gives off an awesome sense of confidence.

"I'm a simple dude. Chains and diamonds don't make your songs any better. Plus I am happy with who I am. I don't need trinkets to make me feel better about myself."±

In an age where rap has been broken down to the simplest form and Mercedes, diamonds and ho's are a way of life. Rock Star manages to bring something new to the table. His songs give us something we've all been missing.

Good music.

"Songs with complicated patterns and rhythms allow me to be silly and really shine on the lyrical level. But a smooth beat allow for more vocal expression and creativity. I like to try new things. Why not people are tired of hearing the same old garbage flooding the market. i'm a make you love me."

With Lyrics, Vocals and a Swagger to match, Rock Star is definitely a name we will be hearing for a long time..
