After a brief lesson of machine sewing in middle school, I did not really learn how to sew until the fall of 2010. I am hooked and put together items either with or without a pattern.

In addition to sewing, I am an art major at a local university where my focus thus far as been on film photography, painting, and drawing. My minor is in textiles, which ties in my love of sewing.

I also knit, crochet, embroider, cook, and garden. There are many other things I would love to learn how to do. I've dabbled in wood working and welding and would like to make use of those skills in my creative work as well.

I live with my boyfriend and two dogs in Minnesota.
