Hi, I shoot analog and digital. My passions are the Rolleiflex and my digital and analog Canons.

As a teenager I got my own darkroom and photography was more a technical and chemical endeavor at that time.

I started late into digital photography, because I didn't want to give up my beloved darkroom devices and chemicals and loved the magic moment, when the picture develops on the paper. Only over time I learned that both worlds, analog an digital can be combined in many ways and have their own strength and weaknesses.

Now I reinforced shooting film and use my digital camera together with macro lens for digitizing the negatives. Photoshop beats darkroom, but hopefully not forever.

Apart from all the technical stuff, discovering the art of photography is an ongoing process that lasts a lifetime.

I also love to surf on the ocean of pictures on flick. The whole world is there and it helps to overcome the limitations of Corona. Also with Corona, traveling has become time travel into my negative archive.
