August 2025 update: After I Accidently delated all my photos on Flickr...I'm back. My goal is to have a better-looking page....

I developed an interest in photography at an early age, The love of Railroading got me started, my grandfather worked for the railroad 44 years, I’d visit him at the local Depot when I got the idea one day that having a picture for later would be cool, read everything I could find at the local library until I could buy my own camera. The first camera I remember was my dad’s hand me down Argus C-3 (still have it).

At the age of eighteen I started my own career with the Railroad, during a downturn in business in the early 1980’s, I was able to join the U.S. Naval Reserves, I graduated in 1984 from the U.S. Naval Schools of Photography in Pensacola, Fl. After active duty I returned to the Railroad and stayed until Retirement (April 2020).

After years of shooting Canon Cameras and Equipment, I now shoot with a Fujifilm X-T4 & X-T5 and a handful of Fujinon lenses. I like to say that I specialize in Industrial Subjects, which means I take a lot of transportation related subjects. Now that I have more time for photography it’s time to branch out and find new things to shoot and explore.
