Born in 1988 in Acireale, Sicily, Paola Licciardello started to photograph as a child. A part from being a University student in Catania, she works as freelance photographer and a video editor.

“I don’t use graphic filters in my photo. I often use some elements to improve my pics, such as water, steam, something for distort the subject. When I began photographing portraits, I was kind of obsessed with it and needed to represent the soul of the subject. I always try to represent the nuances of being, the beauty and those details that sometimes are omitted.

In my next project I am emploring the possibility of conveying fiction and reality into a common dimension, if both can coexist at the same time.”
