My grandfather got me interested in photography when I was in middle school. He was an artist in many ways and I was always curious about him because he was curious about everything. My parents helped by being endlessly supportive including my father buying darkroom equipment and teaching himself how to develop and print film and in turn teaching me. I assure you his patience was tested. Eventually I became focused on other things and life moved forward. When our oldest daughter started playing soccer I got back into photography and moving to digital. It gave me a way to enjoy her games and connect with the other parents without being a screaming maniac on the sidelines. I have never been far from my camera since those days 20ish years ago. I've been fortunate enough to work with local theater groups, do commercial headshots, branding images for small businesses as well as document events important to me and others. I hope you enjoy how I see my world and thank you reading. Enjoy, Steve
