I have always thought that Life's journey is all about the journey, and not the ultimate destination of that journey, to live in the now, so to speak. In that light, I think it's wise to take time out to smell the rose's, and treat people as you would like to be treated yourself.

My interest in photography has been bubbling below the surface for many years now. The advent of digital camera technology and home computer processing coupled with the community of fine people here on flickr has rekindled that sense of awe that an image can convey to all of us. I find myself viewing the World with a photograghic eye, which is a nice way of appreciating the amazing World we inhabit. Thank you all.

From a simply snap happy 2 meg. canon camera the world started to open up, before I knew it, I had moved to a high end prosumer Fuji S9600 9 meg. camera. This is a great all round camera to learn photographic skills on. I found it piqued my interest only more into the world of DSLRs ! I am now exploring this DSLR world with the canon 400D and finding it is indeed an amazing world we live in. Many thanks to fellow members and to all my contacts for the information and inspiration they have given to me on this great journey of ours. All the best .
