I was born in a small military town in Zuoying District of Kaohsiung City in Taiwan in 1965.

My family spends the first year in the United States at North Riverdale Bronx New York where my dad was doing his medical internships at Columbia University. I grew up in Middletown Rhode Island after my dad got his anesthesiologist job and join the Navy. This is also where my twin brother, an internal revenue agent lives with his family. I came to the School of Visual Art back in 1984 when I got accepted into the art school.

Now I'm living and working in Jackson Heights, Queens New York with my wife and son.
