too far the wrong side of 60 with an on/off passion for Photography, Playing bass guitar, and other nonsense. But generally trying to have fun within the framework of a normal family life, and take the family along for the ride!

There are not enough adventures to be had by ordinary people any more.

My cameras are : Sony A77ii, Minolta Dynax 600si, Pentax Espio 120Mi, Pentax Espio 140, and a Pentax Espio 160.

Plus Sigma 70-300 zoom, Minolta 28-105 zoom, and a recently added Sigma 10-20mm wide-angle zoom and a Samyang 35mm f1.4 manual focus lens.

AND I've just dipped my photographic toe into the wonderful world of Infrared photography! I've just bought a IR converted Nilon D70, and a 28mm-100mm zoom. It could get interesting.....watch this space!

I decided to limit myself to just 3 lenses, and to use them to the best of mine and their ability. But as you can see it didn't happen!

In January 2013 I took the plunge and bought a Sony A58 DSLR. What a revelation! Most of my film equipment is now on ebay! So much scope for personal improvement. No need to worry about processing costs, and images can be viewed instantly. Brilliant!

I've decided that my style is......no style at all! I'll take photo' of anything I like the look of. I like people. But I'm too shy to approach total strangers and ask for a picture.
