My name is Rico, I am a Instructor Trainer (M3) of the CMAS diving federation. And of course I am a underwater photographer ;-)

Right now, I am living in the Republic of Turkey where

I do most of my uw photo work & projects. Beside many other

activities, I am also teaching uw photography part time

here in Turkey and am honored to be the head of the "Underwater Photography" department at the Photography Fine Arts Association ( IFOD - Izmir, Republic of Turkey ).

I started with photography in the age of 10 ( with an

Weltaflex double eyed mid-format camera and later

I continued with an Minolta XD7analog SLR ) - Underwater photography I started in 2002 - First with an very simple "Cullman Sharky", later with Olympus and CANON compact digital cameras, right now with Canon d-slr, Ikelite housing and sea&sea strobes.
