Hi. I'm Mike, a 50-something guy living in Oxford, where I've lived for more than half my life (although, apparently, this is not enough to make me a local yet). I work (for certain values of "work") as a Software Developer, currently taking a career break.

Hobbies include gaming (tabletop and video games), music (mostly rock and indie) and films. I enjoy a bit of hill walking from time to time, although I don't get much chance to do it as there aren't many hills near Oxford. I'm also a lapsed biker, with fond memories of riding out on a Suzuki Bandit.

As for photography, I'm very much an amateur, and not very prolific. Mostly, I'll be using my Flickr account as a way to share holiday snaps and gig photos among friends, so don't expect much in the way of stunning arty photos. Photos from recent years have been taken with whichever Android phone was my current one, so the quality won't be great under gig lighting.
