Any day that includes stitching, threads, charms, fabrics and a needle in my hand is a GReat Day .

I am a passionate textile artisan who loves everything about textiles and creating them. Over the years I have stitched others designs but increasingly I am designing my own.

I keep motivated by going to classes and learning new techniques which I then adapt to my own styles and choices of threads etc.

My favourite colours are creams, blacks, purples, maroons, pinks, soft greens and these all feature in many of my works - mostly unconsciously.

I like to do things that are different to what others are creating but know that there are similarities with my work also. I am happy to acknowledge who has inspired me or where I got inspiration from.

I have posted some of my photos simply to share. Some of the work comes from classes and others are my own concepts and adaptions.
