I grew up playing with a variety of toys, which included barbies, my little ponies and care bears. Most of my childhood collection had been carefully put away by my parents, it wasnt until mid 2004 that my love of MLP and barbies started again. It was great to see my old dolls again and to remember all the memories and adventures that each doll had and was attached too! I hope that my children will enjoy the same hours of fun I had growing up with my childhood dolls.

So now I add a few dolls to my collection every year, I have a tight budget so I choose very carefully, though ideally I would have loved to collect all of them! lol Also being based in the South Pacific we do not get many of the dolls that are released in other countries but I do my best to find the dolls that I love and add them to my collection.

Dolls I collect are mostly Barbie and Disney dolls, my barbie collection usually revolves around collecting all the different barbie face molds. I love how diverse the barbie line is nowadays and love the different skin tones, face molds and ethnic variety available today.

I am so glad to have found Flickr and people who share my love for doll collecting. I also love to see other members collections and the stories they share about their collections!
