Sajjad Nayan is a News photographer in Dhaka. He started working as a free-lancer in 2004, selling his photos to different newspapers. In 2009 He joined the Focus Bangla (news and photo agency) a staff photojournalist. At the beginning of 2010 he joined one of the leading newspapers of Bangladesh, the Daily Samakal. Since then, he has been working on news documentaries concerning human rights, political and environmental issues.

His photographs have been published in many national and international publications such as The Daily Star, The Daily Independent, The New Age, The Daily Observer, Forum, The Daily Prothom Alo, The Daily Jugantor, The Daily Samakal, The Daily Janakantha, etc.
