My name is Barbara Millard and I live in the Staffordshire Moorlands. I have recently turned my back on a long career in social work and now have time to play. I have a husband who is kind enough to keep on working and finance my ramblings, three supposedly grown up children and an old Border Collie dog named Maddi.

So what are my options? Well I enjoy baking cakes, knitting and enthusing others to have a go too. But my most recent obsessions are fusing glass and making silver jewellery and sometimes combining the two. I try and sell enough to fund my hobby and allow me to buy more materials to make more. All my pieces are "one offs" and while I can try and recreate them no two pieces will be exactly the same.
