I'm an attorney, a mother, a grandmother, a quilter and a fabric lover! I have been quilting for many, many years. I discovered the modern quilt movement about 5 years ago and have jumped in with both feet! I have a 4 legged buddy named Boo who is a chocolate labradoodle. My grandbabies are Connor (6 years old) and Mason (4 years old).

My sewing room is tricked out with built-ins. I like bright colors. Current favorites are purples, greens in any combination. I am learning to love neutrals and low volume.

My favorite fabric designers and their fabrics are Kaffe Fasset, Joel Dewberry, Denyse Schmidt, Tula Pink, Lauri Wisbrun (Pooches&Pickups), Anna Marie Horner (Loulouthi), Parson Grey, and so many more I can't think of right now.

Coffee and chocolate are always welcome. Any sewing gadget that you like, I will like I'm sure. A mini wall quilt or place mats would be fabulous. Really anything that you would like to make will be appreciated.

I like color. Lots of color. Bright color. Not a pale pastel kinda gal. I don't really like hexagons and thus don't understand the current high interest in them. I like humor, originality and playfulness in quilt design.

I really like improv blocks and quilts.
