Charley Peters works in drawing, photography and print, exploring the liminal space in between technology and tradition, figuration and abstraction, chance and control, information and meaning. Her work explores the relationship between the autographic image and the visual language of mechanical reproduction, where hand-drawn marks replicate the image traces left by mechanised technologies.
