I have been in the photography arena since 1997 when my first SLR camera was a film.

My first film camera was an Olympus and after many years, I converted to a Nikoner.

The cameras I use are D7000, D300, sometimes D800 and occasionally my Galaxy and Canon Isux.

Lenses use Nikon 17-55mm, Nikon 28-300mm, Nikon 50mm, Sigma 10-20mm, Sigma 150mm, sometimes Nikon 24-70mm and Nikon 70-200mm.

Filters use for my sunrise and sunset landscapes and seascapes shots are GND Z Pro series, ND, Hoya CPL, B&W UV.

Flash use are SB600 & SB900. Also use Elinchrome lighting for studio photography.

Editing software which I use are Photoshop, Lightroom, Nik software, Topaz, Photomatix, and occasionally Aperture.

The types of photography I do is mostly something to do with catching the light and shadow or capturing the moments, such as sunrise at seascape, sports photography, creative portraits using off camera flash or studio lights, birthday parties and travel shots.

A present committee member in Castle Hill RSL Photography Club. Active in photo competitions in the club and external. Involved in Photoshop and how to use camera trainings.
