All my life I have been fascinated with photography and how it can represent so much more than a simple observation of our environment. My first Box Brownie Camera at 7 years old introduced me to that box of memories. Black and white it may have been but watching the film develop and images appear showed me a window into a magical world.

I've progressed a bit since then! But always equipped with a simple piece of technology have become amazed at what I captured.

The pure magic we have at our fingertips now in terms of editing I keep simple too. You see, I'm an artist, and many ideas for paintings spring from the colours, images, environments and objects I see. Adding complexity or even simplifying an image arise from within my imagination. Rarely do I paint photographically these days .. tho' it's where I started.

I love also flickr -ing through everyone else's beautiful photos .. just as they are. They each tell a story to me and many open my eyes to places I have have never been.
