I'm in Brisbane, Australia and have been a member here since 2010, but a lot has changed since my Canon 700D days. I’ve since completed a Diploma in Photography, upgraded to a Canon R6 Mark II and spent the last few years refining my eye on Glass. Having been off Flickr for a while, I'm relearning the ropes still. It might take me a while to get around to looking at your images & responding to messages. There's much to rediscover on Flickr.

I'm an inquisitive explorer. My photographic work partially focuses on Architecture, Nature and Night/Long Exposure, although I’ve intermittently dived into the raw energy of Street Photography and Creative or Abstract. Capturing Portraits and Pets has also been enjoyable. I enjoy bright colours, partly due to coming from the tropics where light and colour are vibrant. However, I also love these as subjects alone. A keen nature subject area is birds. The only genre I don't like is anything disrespectful of humans, animals or the planet, except if it's genuinely humorous. My aim is to 'see' and 'capture' in an appealing, quirky or inspirational way even.

I value real conversation and the 'two-way street' of community. If you have a question about a shot, or just want to talk photography, please say hi. I’m looking forward to re-connecting with other photographers, especially local, who appreciate the craft as much as the image. I'm really happy when I receive a real comment and aim to reciprocate. I'm not a huge fan of just faves.

I love detail of the image and where it was taken, as well as who you are. English is preferable. All my photos have subject and location information, as well as camera specifications. I really appreciate seeing that in yours if you're able. I'd also love to see a photo of you, your first name and location. That way I know who I'm talking with and where your beautiful images are.

Please know all my images are copyrighted and you need my permission to download and use. I would also appreciate you asking me if you could include any of my images in a gallery before doing so.
