Who is jms anyway?

Good question, considering I share my initials with some very famous people. I am an artist (largely unknown at this moment), who signs her works JMarie Strickland.

I describe myself as a perpetual girl, though age has taken me away from actual girl-hood. I’ve drawn and painted all my life, and it’s something I would never want to stop doing, so it’s my goal to become more productive with it, share it with the world, so to speak.

I have ulterior motives for this. I like painting and drawing, but keeping all my products is challenging the space in my “studio.” On top of that, I believe, that if people like my stuff well enough, it would give me a little more freedom and time to spend with my child-hood sweetheart and our lovely son (who grows too much every day!) and perhaps, more time painting, too!
