A.K.A. Ranger Bacchus
I'm your average not-so-mild mannered scientist, engineer, and nascent photographer. I make medical devices for diabetics during the day and at night I run around Los Angeles for fun and profit. Well- not so much profit. Usually the other way around, actually. For fun though. Always.
In any event, as you look back through my photostream, the photos you find represent the last 8 to ten years of me taking pictures of my life and the lives of my friends. My photography has gone from point-and-shoots (Oh my dear departed Canon Digital Elph S100- how awesome you were) to a Canon Digital Rebel Xti to my new and very happy Canon 50D.
I especially love low-light photography and most of my favorite shots are done sans flash using a Canon 50mm f/1.4 prime lens.
I'm good at taking pictures of people and not so good at taking pictures of stuff. But I'm working on that.
Other things about me:
I'm 37, I have found my home in the Black Rock Desert within the Burning Man community and I have this knack for throwing some really fun costume parties. :)
