Well, I am new to this whole photography thing. A few months ago I was diagnosed with a severe disease. I wanted to pick up a hobby that would allow me to get my mind off of the struggles I have been going through. Photography was that hobby for me. I have always been fascinated by photography, but never thought I would get into it. I bit the bullet and bought a nice camera and a few nice lenses and decided I would teach myself the basics. For me hands on learning has always been the best way for me to learn, so jumping in head first and learn as I am going along has worked well for me. I truly enjoy getting out and taking pictures. I have such little energy and my emotions have been so low it has been nice to find something that helps me feel a little more alive. I have always loved being out in nature and I have also always been a very creative thinker. Nature photography has truly captured both those sides of me.
