I have had a passion for the visual arts -especially painting, architecture and photography -since childhood. I love exploring the varied dimensions and genres of photographic art. Broadly, I would identity my style as 'modernist, representational and realist' , with a strong liking as well for abstract work. I especially enjoy the way photography allows one to explore the intersections between art, science, technology and society. Although I am, first and foremost, true to my commitment to the aesthetic integrity of the photographer's calling, I am not shy to offer social commentary and -at times -ethical statements through my work.

Unfortunately my professional duties and life limit the amount of time that I can give to photography. I do try to comment on the work of others, from whom I've learned an enormous amount. However, there will sometimes be delays in my comments, so please understand that I'm not ignoring your work but am simply overwhelmed by the call of my professional (Professorial, non-photographic) duties.
