I began photography in 6th grade with an old 35mm camera with the blue flash bulbs given to me form my grandmother. I took the camera with me on a trip to the ocean and loved the pictures of the waves.

Through out the years I had several cheap cameras (polaroid, disc, 110 etc).

While working in Saudi Arabia I made a trade with a professional photographer. His old pentax w/ lenses for scuba lessons and some gear for his wife. Had a lot of fun with that while traveling. Fews years later it was all stolen from me for a few drugs. At that point I didn't feel like investing much in a camera.

So while working on the cruiseships I bought an inexpensive underwater canon that I used for everything. It turned out to be a fantastic camera for where I was in life. Had its limitations for sure but I didn't really know it at the time.

Fast forward quit a few years and several cheap 35mm and a pocket digital. I purchased a Nikon D60 with 2 lenses and a tripod. Thats when I joined Flickr and I've learned so much from the community here.

I love to take pictures of the outdoors primarily and travel photos. I do like to try everything because I see so many amazing shots from other photographers on flickr.

Thanks for any constructive tips.

2013 I've added a Nikon D600 and a Nikon 28-300. Also a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZC25 pocket camera.
