Hi

I am Gill a 60 year old wife, mum and nannie living in Blyton near Gainsborough Lincolnshire England.

I've always had an interest in photography and have always been there with a camera at any get together or holiday. I started taking more pictures when my grandchildren were born and that was when I got my first digital camera a Fugi Finepix a bridge camera. I used to only shoot in Auto at this stage but I got some good results.

When we booked a holiday to Kenya in 2011 my husband and I decided that a good camera was a must. I bought my first SLR a Canon 60D and a 100-400 L lens which was a must to capture the wildlife in Africa.

I joined Flikr last year too and I think my skills have been improved by the loads of help and encouragement I have received from my friends and contacts.

We also go to a local camera club.

My main interests are Natural History - wildlife, birds, plants insects etc.

I also love taking portraits of my grandchildren when I have the opportunity.

Oh and also my 2 Large Munsterlanders (dogs)
