I'm a long-time Engineer, spent most of my Engineering career in the Australian Air Force, was semi-retired for a while, then had a couple of years off work altogether to do a few things, including getting bored.

I had a brief experiment with photography as a business, but for a number of reasons it didn't work out quite as I had hoped. I met a lot of great people, and it was quite an adventure.

Now I'm working full-time again in a job that lets me use all that experience I built up in the Air Force, and I'm enjoying it. It's a very steep learning curve though.

The cameras aren't gathering dust, but it's a bit longer between battery charges for them now. Once I'm settled in this new job I'll be taking a few more photos.
