Born in Scotland with a German mother, raised in Bunbury WA, left school aged 14, fairly well travelled, had many and varied jobs, lived mainly in Australia, Holland and England. Jobs over the years include cleaner, seaman, fireman, fettler, factory hand, courier driver, circus tent rigger, agricultural labourer and company owner/director. I had a keen interest in trains but that lapsed till my sister brought a lot of pistures I took as a teenager in the 70's.
