What drew me to photography is the ability to capture an instant in time allowing me and the viewer to revisit that moment countless times reiterating the emotions, thoughts and interests. However my intent is not to simple recreate but to envision the moment letting it engulf myself and the viewer in that instant.

I was and in spirit still am influenced by my Grandmother. She allowed me the freedom to express myself, to not follow an intended path and to have inner strength. My tendency is to create photographs that are outside the norm of traditional photography expressing my most inner identity in a creative way that hopefully captures you emotions, provokes your thoughts and encompasses your interest.

My inspiration comes from the love of being outdoors in nature for I’m an avid outdoors person. My second home is on the trails and streams, hiking and paddling my way to nowhere, following my passion for chasing small Brook Trout in the streams of the Northeast.

I am obsessed about creating the highest quality images relying on top manufactures such as Canon, Epson, Adobe, IlFord, and Hahnemuhle. When not in the field shooting I am at my desk working in Photoshop and the many plug-in programs creating my artist vision of the instant captured by my 7D.

The greatest reward for what I do is the act of giving back by sharing my art, knowledge and time through the associations I am a member of. I find it most rewarding when I am able to support empathetic causes, and knowing at times, I can inspire others.

I am thankful to have such an understanding wife that tolerates my obsession with the visual arts and all the difficulties this obsession brings, allowing me the freedom to explore my passion, I could not be more blessed
