I am a stay at home mother who loves to sew.
I quilt a lot, I make clothes för my children and grandchildren. I just love to make things in fabric.
My biggest inspiration is/ was my grand mother, she taught me all she could, but most of all she taught me: Nothing is impossible, it may just take a little longer to do.
And I try to learn how to use the computer, and practise my english/ american language.
Fabrics I have at home are printed, animals, flowers small and big, Stripe in all colours. Solids I use a lot is red, pink, green yellow and beige/goldish. What I don´t like that mutch is large dramatic printed fabrics. I find it hard to mix many dark colours so I think that is a dislike.
I look for inspiration in quilt magazines and Japanes books, Japanes fabrics I like too.
House patterns from japanes books I like and have made some to.
Modern quilts doesn´t appeal to me like traditionell quilts do.
Right now I favor white with patterns of stars, circles etc I like that the pattern stand out from that white.
