As you can probably tell from my photos, I like being out in the great outdoors. I’ve always carried a camera around with me, but it is only in recent times that I’ve started to take photography a bit more seriously. Like many I use flickr to show off my better efforts, but I also like to post photos, which although are not likely to win any prizes, are of places that are special to me. The outdoors has always been a place to escape. In my youth it was fishing down the Yealm estuary when I should have been doing homework and now it is the hills and glens of Arran and Ayrshire. Closer to home in Glasgow are the Gleniffer Braes, Lochwinnoch & Muirshiel. All great places for quickly nipping out to, getting a bit a fresh air, recharging the batteries and maybe one day bagging that prize winning shot!
