I have always loved taking and sharing photographs but only in late 2012 bought a half decent DSLR (Nikon D5100) so hoped to improve on the quality of photographs taken. I particularly like landscapes and nature shots, but have yet to properly learn how to do the latter. I also love British classic cars.. In late 2019 I upgraded to a Nikon D7500. My photographs may represent an attempt at a good photograph or simply to portray an image of a location or thing to show to potential visitors, though overall it's most likely because they give a fond memory of a place.

Unfortunately in 2021 during the Covid 19 outbreak I was struck down with eye pain and after multiple checks was diagnosed as having acute angle glaucoma. I've since had multiple eye operations to save the sight in one eye but I'm largely blind in that one, with the other not being great. My photographs are therefore largely taken by viewing with my remaining poor eye which was not the one I use looking through the viewfinder or at camera settings. Please therefore excuse any poor alignment or blurriness in the photographs.
