San Marcos, Texas is a unique city in Texas - consistently inhabited for well over 8,000 years. An incredible river runs through the heart of the city and is crystal clear. The springs that bubble up to the surface from the Edwards Aquifer create the pure water flow for the San Marcos River. The geology in Central Texas is an incredible contrast between rolling hills to the west, and flat farm land to the east.
