A '49 Ford was the car I owned when I was a charter member of the "Hi-Winders" hot rod club in Peoria, IL in 1959. A lot has changed since then, and so have I, but I wanted another chance to own my first car and do some things to it that I couldn't afford to do back then. So, I bought this restored '49 Coupe three years ago, and I am re-living some of those memories and experiences. Not all the old memories were great, since I totalled the old '49 in an accident (not my fault), but the new (old) '49 is a treasure I hope to keep and pass down to my grandsons with my many stories and memories (once they are old enough to hear them)!
