Hey. My name is Alex. I’m living in Medellín Colombia for the next couple of months. This blog will document the people and places, trials and travails of what it’s like for a gringo to live here. (Does anyone ever use the phrase travails without trials?) I’ll be posting pictures, music, videos and if I’m not too lazy writing stuff occasionally. So why Gringo English???? Well whenever I’d try to tell someone my last name while teaching English as a second language they could never pronounce it or remember it.
