I used to call the blog and myself "progressive" but unfortunately, Progressives United and other Dem Party front groups have rendered that word nearly useless. Now I am simply a left wing pro-union "independent". Note: I DO NOT support the Democratic Party or affiliate myself with it. While it remains the lesser of two powerful evils, the difference between those evils is not wide enough for my conscience or taste. To repeat a Polish proverb: Not my circus, not my monkeys.

After an intense oh - what was that - 3 years? - I'm trying to engage with some non-political activities here and there. Photos will probably reflect that change.
