Hello!

My name is Rosemary and I have recently just joined the photography community. I just got my very first digital SLR less than a year ago and since then I have just been experimenting and having fun with it. Despite me being a newbie, I would say that I have had an interest in photography for quite some time but didn’t have the guts to get into it. I experimented with a regular digital camera beforehand, I actually still have some of those pictures on my flickr just so I can look back and see my progression as an amateur photographer. I used to be quite an artsy person – I dabbled in painting, sketching, pastels, stories and poems. I kind of lost myself due to some life tragedies and left those talents behind. I kind of found myself again and was able to feed into my creative artistic side with photography, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much. It’s such a great way to express one’s self and is a good medium for creativity, peace and reflection. Photography makes me appreciate this wonderful world we live in because it help's me pause and reflect and capture milliseconds and make them last for years to come.
