I bought my DSLR over 11 years ago because I had to take pictures for my small town newspaper. I bought it because it had the pre-programmed modes, and I didn't have to figure out how to really use a camera. As my brother is an award-winning photo journalist, I know what great photography is, so I never bothered to learn. (F-stop what?)

I'm off on a new adventure, which is producing postcards of cemetery photography. Postcrossing.com can't get enough of them! Who knew? After 11 years, I'm finally learning how to really use my camera. It's harder, but more rewarding.
