I am a sixty-one year old mother and grandmother who spends most of her days taking pictures and often turning them into paintings eventually. I am a self-taught artist and now a self-taught photographer in progress. I love to capture the beauty of nature and the soul of all things I encounter. I have two completely inexpensive cameras that do very little to enhance a photo, but they are good enough for me to get the kind of photo I am at least satisfied with. I think one of the greatest things about getting into photography is that it forces you to see the world differently perhaps than many others and definitely to see it much more intensely. And it's a wonderful excuse to get out in the fresh air and take a walk.
